Forever Green has appointed chef to the stars Andrew Gower as new head chef in its award winning eco restaurant and venue in Mansfield.
Nestled amongst the trees in Ransom Wood, Forever Green has become a destination venue where the people of Mansfield can come and relax with tasty food and drink while surrounded by nature.
37 year old Andrew brings invaluable experience to the Forever Green table including time at the recently re-launched Twin Oaks, the New Bath Hotel in Matlock Bath and an international twist from Cape Town, South Africa. Chef to the stars, Andrew has also catered for Kevin Spacey.
James Cannon, owner of Forever Green said “It’s great to have such a passionate chef on board who can bring so much to our offering and who is very willing to go the extra mile for our customers.”
Andrew’s newly launched menu includes freshly made dishes such as smoked salmon and lemon salad, Mediterranean chicken and traditional classics like Gammon and Eggs. Menus are designed around local suppliers including produce from the venue’s own allotment.
Weddings and private parties are also very popular at Forever Green and customers will now be able to enjoy homemade canapés, bespoke wedding menus and even hog roasts beneath the woodland canopy prepared by Andrew and his team.
Forever Green was recently voted Best Venue by the business community of The Tuesday Club organised by Parker PR and The Chad.
