Bringing the Outdoors In

Being in close proximity to indoor plants is found to have an increased productivity rating on workers in office spaces. It has been reported by researchers in Norway that “indoor plants in an office can prevent fatigue during attention demanding work”.

Workers, on average, spend around eight hours in their office each day and bringing more natural elements into the workplace can have considerable workplace benefits. Living walls can create an element of nature that also helps with air purity, and some companies go as far as harvesting food produce at work including things such as lettuce, radish and carrots. This is then given to workers on their lunch breaks.

If you like the sound of a more natural environment for your office why not come and visit us at Ransom Wood where we really are “In Business With Nature”.  Speak to us about our available office space located in 70 acres of leafy woodland.  Let our tranquil setting inspire your creative thoughts.

We have a range of offices available to suit your needs including characterful, small units and larger suites for open plan.  Our on-site restaurant, Forever Green, offers somewhere to relax whether it be on your lunch break or to entertain clients.

  • We would like to send our thanks for all the work you have done recently at Cedar House. We were really impressed with your electricians Tony and Ben as to how they refused drinks ( we thought all trades people worked on tea and coffee supplies), how polite and considerate they were and finally how tidy they left our offices.
