The General Data Protection Regulation becomes law on 25th May 2018. GDPR is intended to secure more transparency and aims to improve consumer trust. It brings considerably tighter controls over how data can be used, the rights of the individual on whom the data is processed and significantly greater penalties for companies not protecting the data correctly.
Ransomwood Estates and Hopkins Solicitors will be hosting a FREE event for all companies based on the business park on Tuesday 6th Match 2018. The team from Hopkins will explain GDPR, how it will impact on our businesses and what we need to do to prepare.
To book your place please e-mail Alison and Sarah in the business centre on reception@ransomwood.co.uk by Friday 23rd February.
Location: Forest Suite, Forever Green
Arrival: 9.45 a.m. for a 10.00 a.m. start
The event will last approximately 2 hours.
