No. Normal broadband is known as ADSL, and the A stands for Asynchronous. This basically means you have a faster download speed than upload; this is fine for downloading things, but if you have large files to upload, like video, then it may take a while – typically the upload speed is around a 10th of your download speed.
Our internet is delivered via a Synchronous leased line, which means your upload speed is the same as your download speed. This is another reason why our internet speeds are much faster than home broadband in actual use.
