The Willows

Could The Willows be the future home of your business?

The Willows sits gracefully in it’s woodland environment and benefits from lots of natural light that pours in through its wall to wall windows.

The property is a 20,000 square ft office development built in 2002 and is currently split into 10 suites ranging from 600 to over 3000 sq ft.  The Willows benefits from a galleried foyer which will give any visitors a good impression on arrival.  Shared facilities include disabled, gents and ladies toilets on both floors and if you want to come in by bike then there are lock ups for these as well as showers to freshen yourself up before you start work. There is also a lift for those that want to get up to the first floor without using the stairs.

More about The Willows

Parking for this property is in plentiful supply  and has been designed with the environment in mind (green parking). Dedicated parking is allocated with each lease and further parking is available by request. This is a key advantage to this site as many offices have limited parking on other sites. Mansfield also benefits over Nottingham with no parking levies to pay.

Security is second to none in this building and on the site as a whole. Redcare fire alarms and intruder alarms on individual units provide the first line of defence with park wide security cameras and guards patrols providing an additional safety net

Ransom Wood

The Willows  is located in Ransom Wood, a 70 acre woodland park combining office space with a restaurant, children’s nursery, well being centre, woodland walks and more.

Situated in a woodland setting yet close to transport links and local amenities, Ransom Wood’s location in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire offers a unique environment of leafy vista and wildlife from your window as you work in comfortable, high quality offices.

Unlike other parks, Ransom Wood is a park with a soul and tenants that move here soon get to know each other through various park events that are organised  by the onsite management team Ransomwood Estates. Having an estates team on your door step means you can rely on us to look after your rented property so you can get on with running your business. Quite simply you just won’t find another location like Ransom Wood.

Ransom Wood is run by family business ‘Ransomwood Estates UK Ltd’ and is a business park like no other – to find out more about why it is so special take a look at our video on the home page.

    Frequently Asked Questions

How quickly can I move in?

This depends on the unit you want to move into. We have been known to move people in within a day on our smaller units.

What is the move in process?

After your initial viewing we send you some quotes
    1. You decide on which unit you want to go for
    2. To put a hold on the unit you pay the security bond and any internet connection charge
    3. We confirm a move in date
    4. Meanwhile you sign the license or lease and we prepare the property
    5. You pay the first months rent before the move in date
    6. On move in day – you sign for the keys and photos of the properties condition. We brief you on anything you need to know (security, heating etc)

Do you have any marketing opportunities available on site?

As part of being at Ransom Wood we will give you a free listing on our website and if you have anything to promote we will be happy to add it to our quarterly e-newsletter. We are also happy to promote our tenants on our social media sites and generally promote our tenants by referral when we can. It is in our interests for you to do well.

Do you arrange any events to meet other tenants?

We have a summer BBQ and Christmas drinks  - both are free of charge and a good opportunity to meet other tenants.

Can I bring my dog/cat/pet to work.

If you want to bring your dog to work you must inform us first but we are happy to let you do this. If your dog causes a disturbance to other tenants we will have to tell you to leave the dog at home. If you move out and the dog has caused any damage this will come out of your security bond.

We rent an office here and it’s just such a lovely place to drive into everyday

    • Chris Kho

Still love to walk around. I used to live in the big house at the top of the drive, it was Oak House then and I nursed at Ransom Hospital , Byron Ward which was on the left side of Ransom Hall car park. Oak House used to be Sisters accommodation. I think the main chef lived upstairs when I lived there and just me downstairs mostly. I loved it but had to keep my kitchen door closed because of the squirrels. Loved looking down the drive out of my bedroom and lounge windows, beautiful in Autumn and when it snowed, I worked at Ransom Hospital until it closed in 1987. Wonder why Oak House was later named Ash House? Lovely dining at Forever Green in the grounds whilst I reminisce.
