Ransom Wood benefits from its own business centre which is based at Ransom Hall.

Our business centre team, Alison and Sarah, are on hand to assist with all your admin support requirements including

The business centre is ideal for those basing themselves at Ransom Hall but its services are also available to tenants in our other properties across Ransom Wood.

Our team will provide a warm welcome at Reception to receive your visitors and when you’re busy we can provide an answering service to ensure those all important calls are not missed should you be out of the office or in a meeting.

Bookable meeting rooms are available by the hour and these are ideal for meeting your clients or holding training sessions.  Catering from our on-site restaurant can also be organised for you if you require.  Or, on sunny days, why not enjoy our garden area when meeting clients.

Coming soon is our Concierge service – we’ll be able to organise restaurants, floristry, groceries, dry cleaning, car valeting and much more.

Just pop along to see us at the Business Centre reception and have a chat about your requirements and we’ll do the rest.

  • Printing, photocopying, document scanning
  • General secretarial support using MS Office software
  • Laminating and document binding
  • IT support
  • Stationery supplies

  • Phone answering:- £12 per month for the phone line and £1 per call answered with messages forwarded by e-mail. Dedicated phone number provided.

Business Centre FAQs


What payment methods do you accept?

We prefer you to set up a standing order for your rent. We accept payments by BACS but you can also pay by debit or credit card if needed via our restaurant for which a charge will apply.

What disabled facilities do you have?

This depends on the property - please enquire for more details.

    Still love to walk around. I used to live in the big house at the top of the drive, it was Oak House then and I nursed at Ransom Hospital , Byron Ward which was on the left side of Ransom Hall car park. Oak House used to be Sisters accommodation. I think the main chef lived upstairs when I lived there and just me downstairs mostly. I loved it but had to keep my kitchen door closed because of the squirrels. Loved looking down the drive out of my bedroom and lounge windows, beautiful in Autumn and when it snowed, I worked at Ransom Hospital until it closed in 1987. Wonder why Oak House was later named Ash House? Lovely dining at Forever Green in the grounds whilst I reminisce.

    Absolutely spot on as regards setting up a virtual office. Really friendly and helpful reception staff, with onsite meeting rooms available if needed. Very pleased.

    Brilliant place, they have all sorts of businesses there. A cafe, hypnotherapy, hypnopuncture as well many others. Worth a drive up just to see what's there. Furthermore, it's in lovely surroundings.
