Here in the Estates Office we’re pleased to be supporting Simon Alsop in his quest to complete the Three Peaks Challenge on 19th and 20th June. This involves him putting his best foot forward and climbing the three highest peaks in England, Wales and Scotland in the space of just 24 hours.
Part one of the challenge will be to conquer Ben Nevis in Scotland which is the largest of the three peaks at 1344 metres. Then it’s a six hour drive across the border into England and on to Scafell Pike, a mere 978 metres
By the time the second part of the climb is completed it will be the early hours! After breakfast it will be time to hot foot it over to Wales for the final peak – Snowdon 1085 metres.
Then its time for home and a nice long soak.
Simon is doing this all in a good cause to support the Royal British Legion and if anyone would like to sponsor him please get in touch with us or catch up with him when you see him around and about on the business park.
Good Luck Simon from all the gang in the office!
