Its Mental Health Awareness Week and a good time to check in with not only ourselves but those around us, be that at home or work.
Its well documented that being outdoors is good for our mental health and has many positive effects. Studies have shown that green spaces can lower stress levels, reduce rates of depression and anxiety and improve general wellbeing. A simple walk in nature can boost your mood, provide some valuable thinking time and gives us lots of fresh air.
Here at Ransom Wood we’re really lucky to have offices located in 70 acres of natural woodland and in today’s fast paced life its great to be able to take some time away from our desks and enjoy our environment.

There’s lots to observe on a walk around the park. We share our woodland with squirrel and rabbit families amongst other wildlife. There is an abundance of birds to listen to and our picnic benches at Forever Green are ideally placed to watch some of the smaller ones on the feeding posts.

Why not take time today to step outside your office and enjoy what is going on in nature around us.
