Following a huge response in 2016 the Ransomwood Estates team decided to support the Mansfield Homeless Shoebox Appeal again this year. We appealed to all the companies based on the park for their support and again you all provided some much needed essentials for homeless people and also for their dogs.
An excellent response meant that we collected an amazing 55 boxes between us all which will be distributed to homeless men and women in the local area. These will be given to soup kitchens, YMCA hostels and directly to people living on the streets. The boxes for dogs would be shared with homeless people and also with other charities such as Jerry Green in Blidworth.
Stuart Brown is the volunteer organiser for the whole project. He commented “I’d like to thank all the companies based at Ransom Wood for their support again this year. You’ve all been really generous and we’re really appreciative of all your efforts. This will make a real difference.”
Once again, many thanks to you all from the Ransomwood Estates team.
Happy Christmas all.
