Earlier this year we were pleased to welcome a new family business, Brides and Mothers Designer Wedding Outlet, to Ransom Hall. The business is run by Helen Dickson and her husband Simon with daughter Lucy and granddaughter Lily also playing important roles to make it successful.
Helen commented “I decided to open the Designer Wedding Outlet in response to brides and mothers comments and requests. During the last seven years of my experience in the bridal industry I have started to see a change in the way that brides want to buy their wedding dress. The traditional bridal boutique usually offers appointments only with samples of dresses to try on. When you find “the one” there is usually a waiting time of several months for the dress to arrive. This is a lovely experience for most brides but there are some that really don’t want all the fuss and bother. I was frequently asked “why can’t I just try a dress on and take it away with me?”
Some brides can’t justify the designer price tag and the same applies to Mothers of the Brides or Grooms when they are looking for outfits. We have opened our Designer Wedding Outlet to provide a simple solution. On offer are hundreds of wedding dresses and mother’s outfits at lower prices. There’s no need for an appointment, you can just turn up and browse.
We are so pleased to have found this wonderful location for our Outlet situated in the woods right next to the lovely wedding venue Forever Green. When you visit us you can make a day of it and have a coffee or lunch too.
On Sunday 11th June we are co-hosting a Wedding Fayre with Forever Green so you could call in and see us then and meet lots of other wedding suppliers at the same time. Visit http://www.forever-green.info/events/ for further details.
