Weddings and Events Co-ordinators

We are looking for 2 passionate Weddings & Events Coordinator to join our team at Forever Green, a woodland restaurant, conference, banqueting & wedding venue in Ransom Wood Business Park.

This is a challenging and exciting role where you will be expected to work efficiently and professionally at all times to deliver excellent customer service. As a team of 2, you will be reponsible for selling meetings and conferences across three venues in Ransom Wood including Forever Green, Ransom Hall and Birch House. You will sell and host weddings and events in our woodland venue Forever Green.

Key Responsibilities

Sales

  • Ensuring a focused proactive sales approach to enquiries, ensuring sales opportunities are maximized in all areas (meetings/conference, weddings, banqueting, Christmas)
  • Proactively selling to targeted new customers to ensure business growth.
  • Working to achieve quarterly sales targets set by the general manager.
  • Reporting your pipeline of sales to the general manager on a weekly basis.
  • Ensure a consistent enquiry handling process with every call, email, online enquiry & walk-in.
  • Excellent management of all pre- and post-event communications.
  • Conducting guest/client show rounds, building rapport and sharing a vision for events.

Marketing

  • Developing a marketing plan and managing marketing activities in that plan, ensuring ROI is achieved and all enquiries are tracked back to each area of marketing spend.
  • Managing social media channels, website content, online and offline paid for channels.
  • Attendance at key exhibitions, conferences, trade shows, and networking events.

Salary & Hours : The salary paid will depend on age and experience. Working hours include a mix of regular hours during the week and flexible hours at weekends. These will typically vary from 40 to 50 hours per week.

    This is such a beautiful setting for an office. Lovely & peaceful and the Ransomwood team are excellent! The maintenance team are always around if needed, great internet facilities and a fabulous café onsite too. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for premises in the area.

    Still love to walk around. I used to live in the big house at the top of the drive, it was Oak House then and I nursed at Ransom Hospital , Byron Ward which was on the left side of Ransom Hall car park. Oak House used to be Sisters accommodation. I think the main chef lived upstairs when I lived there and just me downstairs mostly. I loved it but had to keep my kitchen door closed because of the squirrels. Loved looking down the drive out of my bedroom and lounge windows, beautiful in Autumn and when it snowed, I worked at Ransom Hospital until it closed in 1987. Wonder why Oak House was later named Ash House? Lovely dining at Forever Green in the grounds whilst I reminisce.

    Brilliant place, they have all sorts of businesses there. A cafe, hypnotherapy, hypnopuncture as well many others. Worth a drive up just to see what's there. Furthermore, it's in lovely surroundings.
