We’re coming to the end of another busy year here at Ransom Wood. So what have we been doing this year?
We have welcomed 21 new companies to the park during 2014 and these have been a mix of small start up businesses to the larger more established ones.
Our smaller offices in Oak and Ash Houses are really popular for companies looking to take their first steps into taking office space or simply looking to expand. These include Maybe Mabel Handmade, Kuku Apps, 123 Taxis and Bertram Design and Build to name a few.
The larger open plan offices have also been popular with Innov8 and Charnwood Training both taking space in The Willows and Laurel House.
Also this year Ransomwood Estates celebrated 15 years in business. We entertained lots of our tenants and suppliers on the sun drenched patio at our restaurant Forever Green. We celebrated with a tasty barbecue lunch and glasses of bucks fizz.
Towards the end of the year it was great for us to receive planning permission to start work on our solar farm which will mean we can generate our own electricity for the business park in the future. The installation of over 2,000 solar panels begins in 2015!
We’d like to thank all our tenants for their support over the last year – you help to make Ransom Wood a special place to work.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all from all of us at Ransomwood Estates

Our MD has been out armed with his iphone to take some video footage of Willows 4. Since this video was taken plans are now afoot to split this suite into two units creating 4A (circa 1679 square ft) and 4B (circa 1517 square ft)
