As we reach this milestone its good to reflect on how far we have come as a team and how the Ransomwood community has grown.
Back in 1999 our 70 acre woodland business park was home to just 10 companies. Today we welcome over 100 businesses to the park every day – that’s around 1,00 people.
The last 20 years has seen lots of activity, positive initiatives and exciting projects, all of which have culminated in the business park you experience today. We have increased out letting space on the park with our more recently built offices at The Willows and Laurel House. this was followed by Birch House which is rated excellent by BREEAM.
Our restaurant, Forever Green, was completed in 2005 and provides a light and airy space for coffee or lunch as well as being a popular wedding and events venue in the local area. In 2017 we completed a substantial refurbishment of our conferencing facilities in our business centre at Ransom Hall. The Elements Suite is a unique place to host an event whether it be a small meeting, training session or conference.
Another major project was the installation of our solar farm – over 2,000 photo voltaic panels spread over three acres provides up to 450 KW of power which contributes to the running of the park every day.
We’re so proud that our company has grown in this way, and that we count local, regional and national businesses among our park residents, including small, medium and large-scale organisations.
We don’t know what the next 10 or 20 years will bring, but we can promise the same level of commitment and service that has come to define our business and reputation.
